CNJ Motorsport is a Queensland owned and operated business in the outer Brisbane suburb of Underwood. It was initially established in 1988 by Kelvin Wright and William George to service carburettors, distributors and perform fuel injection repairs primarily for trade customers. However, we recognised that we gained greater personal satisfaction from helping our retail customers, and consequently concentrated specifically on serving the consumer directly. As our customers changed, so too did our business; we also became aware that our quality Performance Tuning and Motorsport Preparation abilities were increasingly in high demand by our customers. Consequently, we embarked on a business name change from Carb-N-Ject to CNJ Motorsport, which better reflected our selection of services.

Since our inception, CNJ Motorsport has been synonymous with quality; quality workmanship, quality automotive parts and quality of customer service. It comes as no surprise then that the majority of our customers are long term, repeat customers and the majority of our advertising occurs by word of mouth. We align ourselves with quality products and therefore only recommend a carefully selected choice of suppliers who uphold our endeavors to supply only the best to our customers. Our SPEEDSHOP is a display of our selection of quality products from our chosen suppliers; products that we know will deliver unrivalled quality and reliably.

Kelvin and Bill have acquired a combined automotive experience of some sixty (60) years; ranging from basic motor vehicle servicing, complete engine re-builds, Motorsport preparation, engine control unit installations and performance dynamometer tuning. Throughout the years we have worked on everything from standard road vehicles to many race vehicles such as Tony Longhurst's Subaru STi and it's many pilgrimages to Mount Bulla, Targa Tasmania and the Rally of Adelaide. We have also been involved in preparing Mark Berry and Russell Newman's GTR Skyline for it's infamous invitation to the Tsukuba circuit in Japan in 2007, as well as preparing it for numerous appearance around the Australian race circuit.

CNJ Motorsport was the first automotive workshop to install a computer controlled chassis dynamometer in Queensland. Subsequently, we were also the first Queensland workshop to install a computer controlled four wheel drive chassis dynamometer. These accomplishments have seen CNJ Motorsport set the benchmark for dynamometer tuning, and have resulted in Dyno Dynamics and Safari 4x4 Engineering accepting the techniques developed by our technicians as being recognized as the industry standard. The utilization of state of the art equipment and having an intimate knowledge of dyno tuning has established CNJ Motorsport as an industry leader. CNJ Motorsport strive to offer our customers uncompromising attention to details and refined and reliable performance.
