I've noticed excessive clutch slip on the DSG with the APR Stage 1 tune (MY12 Mk6 GTI) in daily driving when left in D, this flash would sort it out? Feel like I'd be throwing money after money but the excessive slip and shifting/hunting for gears is driving me a little nuts.

Also what is the difference between the torque limit delete and the threshold raise to 350nm
The delete takes the limiter off totally, but no guarantees on anything related to the transmission with this.

If you have an existing hardware problem, you should sort that out firstly, software won't cure broken hardware. Slip is one thing (and you will see this by data logging it) shifting / hunting gears is part of our drive-ability fix.

Thanks Guy, might run some logs to see if the numbers match what I'm sensing and go from there.

Has anyone here purchased a DSG tune yet? Some feedback would be great

Wife's Jetta booked in for the 23rd for DSG software upgrade. I can give some feedback after that. Even though it's a different box and engine to yours.

    Getting mine done next week.

Question: What does the launch control rpm get set to for the R?

    Thanks

4000 rpm for the Golf R - that covers stage 1 - 2 cars nicely

Nice. Also had a dyno run today with the stage 1+ tune and pulled 250.8hp at all four which was decent Looking forward to the TBE next week with the DSG tune
