I've been looking at the current APR ECU (stage 1) tune, with the plan to upgrade (if the end of FY sale is happening)...
"The APR Stage I ECU Upgrade is an OBD-II ECU upgrade that not only gives you higher peak numbers of 230kW and 410Nm of torque, but also gains of up to 28kW and 47Nm throughout the power band!" APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW and Porsche Vehicles. (today)
while back in 2010:
"Not only does our Stage I ECU Upgrade give you higher peak numbers of >239kw and 435nm. Gains of up to 49kw are available at lower rpms!"
I'm confused. What have I missed? Why is the latest remap apparently producing significantly less power?
