Question for you mate. I have the red mfd and was wondering about displaying call information on the dash. I have been trying to find out if it does display, or whether you need some special little gadget which allows for this to occur. Might be interested in a 9w7 unit for my R36. Also, another stupid question for you, what if I have my phone, and my wife's phone paired to the car and we are both in the car. Does it work for both phones simultaneously depending on whoevers phone gets a phone call? Just curious as we both share the car, but we also do family trips in it too!

Hi mate. If you pair 2 phones and both get in the car it connects to the "first" phone that was paired up. If the first phone isnt in the car it wont find it and then looks for the second phone...so takes a little longer to connect. In my jetta that i have a 9w7 kit installed i paired my wifes phone first and then mine as she is the main driver of the jetta. The jetta is a 08 so has the red dash display and a 9w7 kit doesnt work on the red MFD. We use the head unit of or RNS510 and the steering wheel controls for functions... I think you can get a extra module to add to the BT kit which gives you red mfd function but i would have to look into that for you. To be honest with a RCD/RNS the radio BT display is all you need..
