Polo 6R (2010+) Parts For Sale

I have a few parts from my VW Polo 77 TSI Comfortline that I'm selling, most in good to excellent condition. My garage is still filling up with car parts so I really need to start selling these things (or I really have to stop buying...XD)

1x Set of Genuine Volkswagen OEM Bi-Xenon Headlights (With LED DRL) (Including indicator globes and custom made Plug and Play adapters) $1100 Neg

Includes all adapters and fittings to go from stock halogen to Bi-Xenon. I made these especially for someone on the forum who has decided not to buy these now so I am selling them to anyone. As part of what that person requested these have been converted to use H7 Halogen globes as there is no auto leveling. Original Xenon components can be put back in but are not included with the purchase. This includes the indicator bulbs only as it is not the same as the stock halogen headlight indicator bulb. The other two H7 bulbs can be moved over from the stock headlights. This is designed to be 100% Plug and Play with current Polos but some knowledge may be required to enable the DRL on older Polos (Before 2011) through VCDS.

1x Set (of 4) of Genuine Volkswagen OEM 15" " Lakeside" alloys (PCD 5x100mm, 15"x6.5) Including OEM Continental tyres" (195/55R15) with about 7,500-10,000KMs worth of tread left. $750 Neg

One alloy has a tiny bit of gutter rash, but might still be a good buy for a car at home that has steel wheels.

1x Pair of Genuine Volkswagen OEM Tail Lights (Including All bulbs) $250 Neg

Would be a great buy if you intended to put LED's inside.

1x Pair of Genuine Volkswagen OEM Dual Halogen Headlights (Fitted with genuine 6000k Philips Xenon bulbs, and all other bulbs) $650 Neg

The Xenon globes give excellent light for country and night time driving and great style for everything else.

Once I get around to taking more photos, a few more items will appear.

All prices are cash, for Victorian buyers. (I can send interstate to you interstate buyers but postage costs apply) Don’t hesitate to negotiate, send us a Personal Messsage and we can work a price out. I can also help fit these items to your car on pickup.

Any other questions give us a holla,

    Nomadx38 (Jake)

Wasn't to sure where to start for pricing but considering that an average alloy will cost about $500 each without tyres, I thought including tyres makes it reasonable especially since 3 are in excellent condition.

Haha I like to see the fool who would sell a set of rims with good tyres for $800. You won't find a single place in Australia doing that, especially not OEM. Get a quote on replacement rims, you will be absolutely shocked!...I was...

Laugh all you like but I think you're missing the point. You cannot base your sell price against what those peasants at VW will ream you with...or any other place for that matter. For a start nobody is thick enough to even attempt to buy OEM wheels from anywhere but a forum or someone they know, because as you stated yourself, the prices in most cases give a shock factor of 1000!

So if people won't buy new OEM wheels at those crazy prices, why would anyone consider buying a used set at similar $$. You can buy nicer aftermarket wheels for the same coin.

If you did a search in the classifieds, history tends to become very informative in here. Many people or fools as you like to put it, have offloaded their OEM wheels with tyres – myself included (yes a fool) – for below the $1000 mark and I'm talking GTI Denvers here, not Lakeside rims.

In the interests you getting a sale, I hope you see this as good advice.

Hey mate - the only people shelling out dealer prices are insurance companies, forums are generally 'decent' prices, not as low as ebay/gumtree but reflect genuine used 2nd good prices
If you look you'll find plenty of people - check out gumtree, this forum, actually any forum, trading post and ebay to find out how much used standard, lightly damaged wheels with worn tyres are worth. 800 would be a starting point but i think you'd struggle to sell even at that price. 2nd hand OEM is generally worth very little in my experience online. They are used for rego/defects but get little attention.

There's actually a set on here for $800 with nearly mint tyres that have struggled to move!

Plus here's a set of AUDI lakesides for $300 on gumtree (diff PCD but same wheel)

AUDI ALLOY MAG WHEELS 16 inch " SET OF 4 + TYRES FOR $299 !!! | Wheels, Tyres & Rims | Gumtree Australia Eastern Suburbs - Maroubra

Good luck with the sale mate but i think you might need to organise a permanent place in your garage for them unless you reconsider.
Good prices for the taillights btw

I bought these where the wheels I bought, paid $600, i was extremely happy. They are every bit as new as the photos suggested, they are going on as soon as the current set are worn out. Jake, you are open to negotiate which is good, but unfortunately this forum won't be the place to move them for anything more than 25% of your asking price as anything is only worth what people are willing to pay and around here, its most likely going to be the region of the $500 mark if you're lucky. Sorry about that, but weirder things have happened though

If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)
