Thumbs up mk4 golf / beetle Remus axle-back exhaust

    Hello everyone,

I have for sale a Remus axleback exhaust that I bought second hand. The exhaust has done less than 20000kms. Asking $200. (Retail approx. $800 new)
    Condition:

-Condition is good for a second hand item in perfect running order, small surface scratches on muffler and pipe. Exhaust tips are only very sparsely marked, would suit fussy owner.

    Fitment:

(REQUIRES CUTTING OF EXHAUST, AFTER CENTRE MUFFLER)

-It is a tight fit on mk4 golf, but I didn't have any problems I just had to modify the hanger. As such if you want it on a beetle it will need a new mount.

-It is designed to fit a new beetle.

-Will fit either 50mm or 55mm exhaust.

-For full fitment details, check out the remus website using the model number (955098 0502). I won't take responsibility for incorrect fitment details.

    Shipping:

-Shipping interstate is to be organised by the buyer. I'm happy to have it picked up from my place by a courier. Or you can pick it up yourself.

-I have done a picture in paint to demonstrate dimensions.

    -It weighs about 13kg

-When I bought it I had it shipped from Sydney for about $100.

-I'll tell you my full address if you pm me with intent. I'm located in East Brisbane.

-I will cover the shiny bits with cardboard for shipping but no more.

    NOTES:

-I repainted it black recently using VHT black exhaust paint - not a dodgy job still looks good and was baked on so is rock hard.
    -It's been polished.
-Remus sport mufflers are very quiet, and are designed to increase power without significant noise.

    Thanks,

    Thomas.

It idles like stock loudness, but is deeper. Slightly louder when revved, it's not much louder but definetly deeper. I'm selling it because it wasn't loud enough for my tastes.
