Lucky dip. Random parts left over from my 2x Mk6 Golf’s

Random parts left over from my 2x Mk6 Golf’s. I have some photos below but will add more in the next 24hrs for the other parts.

If someone wants multiple parts then i will happily bundle together and offer a better price as postage can be combined.

All prices include postage (except for the downpipe – that’s a pickup item only)

Mk6 R stock downpipe (happy to remove the 1st cat if you wish so its a very budget friendly semi hi-flow downpipe). Was on the car for approx 10,000km before it was removed.
    $80

Wheel bolt removal tool = $20 (perfect cond, I don’t think it’s ever been used) Same as this: Genuine Volkswagen Audi - 4D0012219A - Lug Wrench (4D0 012 219 A)

Bump stops (rear suspension) Golf Mk5 and Mk6 (non GTI) = $20 (brand new still in packaging, ordered from ECS Tuning) Rein - 1K0511353M - Bump Stop - Priced Each

Rear number plate lights (genuine from my Mk6) incl bulbs = $15

Mk6 hatch boot light assembly (includes the bulb)= $15

Mk5 / Mk6 black plastic OEM Oil cap. In perfect condition - was replaced with aftermarket oil cap.= $15 (also suits many other VW/Audi/Skoda cars)

Mk5 / Mk6 radiator overflow bottle blue coloured cap. OEM part. Perfect cond= $15 (also suits many other VW/Audi/Skoda cars)

Washer fluid cap = $12 (also suits many other VW/Audi/Skoda cars)

Make an offer - just want this stuff gone and it doesn't seem right to throw perfectly good parts in the bin.

Hi mate. You dont happen to have a stock induction pipe (between airbox and compressor inlet) or the first section of charge pipe that clicks into the turbo compressor outlet do you?

Looking at the turbo hot side outlet flanges, the golf 6 R K04-064 downpipe will probably bolt to the golf 6 Gti's IHI wont it? If so is the Golf 6 R downpipe (just the dump section pre-cat) equivalent to about a 2.75in aftermarket system or is it a bit more constricted than that? Just thinking I might be able to use it in my 1.8T IHI conversion attempt.

I did up until about 2-3 weeks ago mate. After trying to sell it multiple times and even offering it for free, i finally bit the bullet and threw the entire airbox assembly and induction pipe in the bin. I hate throwing stuff like that out but it had been sitting around for over 2 years taking up space. What a shame.

The exhaust flange is identical on the K03 and K04 so yes the down pipe will bolt up. The diameter of the stock Golf R down pipe is 2.5" so its not bad from a diameter point of view depending on how much power you want to try and make. Would be easy to cut and customise if needed to suit your application. Have a look at the link in my original post - ive got a few pics of the down pipe.

I also have the stock K03 turbo muffler thingy which goes in the compressor side of the turbo. Not sure if you are interested in that?

Oh bugger re the induction pipe - no worries. Actually don't worry about the comp outlet muffler. I just did a fit up on the 1.8T then and I'll have to grind a boss off the Polo engine mount bracket that bolts to the side of the engine to get the muffler canister to clear. But then the whole canister is still too far across hiding behind the block for the mufflers exit pipe to look around the side of the engine, so I'll have to go with a muffler delete that uses are short straight pipe.
Yeah I might grab the dump. I'll end up on a 3in down the track but the 2.5in will do the job initially. I'd literally only need the pre cat section though - that Ok?

Put a Mk6 GTI and Mk6 R stock dump pipe next to each other and apart from the small resonator in the Golf R one you would be very lucky to spot any differences. They are the same shape, with the same positioning of cats and sensors and brackets etc. As for diameter/bore i believe they are the same.

The believe the R version has some very subtle changes to allow clearance around the driveshaft which the GTI version does not need.

Yeah no worries. Either take the whole thing or if you really only want the 1st half i can cut it off for you.
