And that is my point, say BT can only get to max of 50db, and radio can do 100db. If you adjust the relative volumes to roughly equal and adjust the master past 50db the BT will max out and may get damaged. Or if you cap BT at 50db you will be wondering why from about halfway up the master volume BT won't go any louder. Then when you decide to switch back to radio after adjusting the master volume to max to see if something's wrong with BT, you get hit with the sudden louder volume. IMO it makes more sense to keep individual volumes.
The relative volume setting probably makes more sense when difference in volume between modules are minor. With the DNS the max BT volume is a fair bit quieter than SD / radio etc.

Yes this new MPU fixes the rear speaker issue, as moda has confirmed too.
By the way, no response on iPhone mirroring yet today from Audiosources, I'm still chasing it up.
