Only after flashing. Have not been able to get rear sound since flashing this morning.

I can confirm my rear speakers no longer work as well. Also the SD/Nav memory leak issue remains too.

One thing I noticed for the first time after a successful flash (both mcu and mpu) is I noticed a quick whitescreen with coloured lines before the welcome to vw screen.
It didn't freeze, but never saw that on boot up on last firmware.

Yep, just noticed, no sound out of the rear speakers. lol.
Also, it was 38 degrees today and my car sat out in the sun, works fine.
Yup the rear speakers thing was a software oversight - just got an apology from Audiosources and an updated MPU:

There is only the MPU file (and some Chinese instructions that you can ignore) in there, just replace the MPU in the firmware zip I provided with this one. You will need to do the BSP flash along with the MPU i.e. insert card into GPS slot then turn on the unit. No need to update your MCU.
Regarding normalising the volumes, this wouldn't really work because BT and DVD at max volume is a fair bit quieter than SD / radio at max volume - it's to do with the volume capabilities of the individual hardware modules and I think having separate volumes is really the only viable way to deal with it.

Thanks for the update Sandy. Could you confirm whether the updated MPU fixes the rear speaker issue if I were to flash along with the latest firmware update?

Well I had a radio that has an option with "relative volumes" where I could set radio volume louder than cd, for example, so at the end they were sounding at the same level, if they weren't by default, like it seems to be here.
