Would it be easier to identify the fuse for it rather than pull a lead on the battery?

Right now I have my sub levels at -6 bass -2 mid 0 treble +2. Its decent at normal levels, but pounds hard at 18+ levels

This is exactly what I meant in my earlier posts about high pass filter but everyone thought I was retarded! Glad you two get it.

Need hpf to filter out the lows from the speakers yet not from the pre amp... That's what it's for, even on basic $50 jb hifi head units!

Here's a question, what's the difference between can-s and can-v in the secret menu? I have a mk5 should it be on the -v or -s?

New "feature". I can't change the system time on the unit. It keeps reverting back to whatever it was before I changed it.

I'll add my issues to the doc.

Received my unit today (in Syd). Same situation with cables. Will update if I find any other issues.

I never thought you were retarded lol. I just knew at the time ASP or some sort of signal processing option was included. It wasn't until we got the units that I found this feature to be useless in its current state. Sure it seems to have cross over points for low, mids and highs but they do not work properly. Definitely something to add to the list with the whole "bass is overpowering" section.

If you have your GPS antenna hooked up it seems to retrieve the time from that. I noticed that I couldn't change the time recently because in fact it is totally wrong but it wouldn't. However when I first got my unit and didn't have GPS plugged in at first the time was able to be set manually. Still something to add to the list as my GPS time in iGo is right but the DNS time is off by like 8hours!!!

Wow, I just read this thread after a while away.

I did notice a message about finding a f something cable for my 2009 mk5 that splits two into one or one into two or something into something, but there was a dead link in the reply. Can someone please shed some light onto what this might be? I have seen the link about the antenna adapter, but I thought I didn't need that one...

I am a little surprised and upset that people have pushed sandy so hard that pre-production units have been sent out.

    Thanks,
    Matt.
