Thanks I will have to ask my installer but when I say on. There is always power. If I turn the ignition only one click I have power to listen to radio etc so I put it in reverse and the camera works fine...but if I turn the ignition one more time the car starts, then I pit it in reverse and it is all scrambled...Regardless I have to send it back if I switch from sd to fm there is no sound. I have to turn off the car and turn it back on...the blutooth I got connected once but my wife could not hear me at all
Did you buy the replica RVC from AS too? I have this problem but with another head unit. When you find the solution let me know so that I can tell my installer the solution for them to do it. I'm waiting for the new DNS and Sandy to come back to open up the car again.
Try this for the reverse camera issue. It is the only thing that worked for me.

Seeing how im not using the reverse camera, would the battery feed from that harness work for a amp remote turn on? I am going to guess that the red line on that provides a 12v power to the camera ? Seeing how AS provides the pre-amps but not a remote turn on feed from the radio itself, looking to avoid having to re-route my already fed remote turn on line for my amp.

We shouldn't have to add another item to a camera that is supposed to "work out of a box".
Correct guys. Especially seeing that mine worked out of the box no problem. It has to be a wiring issue. Just follow what I said and it will work. Remember the ground for the camera has to be hooked to a bolt in the hatch as its a short wire already fitted with a loop for a screw. The only connections made at the camera end are the blue/red wire loom to the only connectors available that will take it, the original latch male connector to the female latch connector out of the camera, the ground to a nearby bolt and the rca (I believe it's a 3.5mm connection at the camera end).
