I do like this idea. To me that makes sense. Its like releasing a phone or a operating system out, everything is practically beta these days when they hit the market, then fine tuned as the customers report issues

I would be even willing to wait for the Andriod mirroring function as that was the main reason I signed up in the first place.

You gotta do something to appease the worker bees. Having so many people working so many hours without holidays or weekends can be dangerous. China has come a long way from it's purely military communist state history :p

Love the speed of the unit ! Fingers crossed on the updated software.

Video controls are one of the things still missing. Also the current software resumes the file last played but not the playback position - I believe this is related to the controls (other than skip forward / backward) not being present.

No, unfortunately voice control is one thing that the DNS does not have.

Yes it is a national holiday this week, starting today. Audiosources will be back on the 4th. I did manage to get a firmware update last night though, and have made a demo video showing the current bugs. I will also list there below for those who don't want to sit through it, plus I missed two things in the video.

In radio, with RDS turned on, the station name shows only the first character in the MFD display. With RDS off the frequency is displayed as per normal.
In radio, the steering wheel arrow buttons seek backwards / forwards instead of moving to the next preset station.
In SD / USB, the last played song is remembered but not the playback position.
In SD / USB, ID3 info is missing, only the file name of the song is displayed.
In SD / USB, "Random" can sometimes shuffle to a video file.
In SD / USB, video controls are missing - tapping the screen simply stops video playback.
In BT Music, steering wheel arrow buttons don't have any effect.

Not in video:
Reverse screen comes on every time without camera connected - a temporary fix of a sort exists for the DNS; there is an option to keep current volume instead of muting in the reverse camera screen.
Steering wheel phone button switches to BT screen but does not answer / end calls.

I'll put the video up tomorrow, I cut out the end where it shows a phone number that I'm dialling but Youtube decided that's something worth "processing" for the past half hour. I'm off to bed first, but once I get that video up I'll PM everyone to get that vote going to see who would want the unit the way it is. Some of those bugs may well be fixed by the time the units get shipped.
