Sandy, I've been quietly watching all this play out and have yet to see you really lose your lid. Well done for keeping your cool. couple of questions, how much you are pushing back to/ on AS? Do you have any recourse to go back and get them to review/ adjust pricing of the unit seeing it was based on a list of specs which have now changed to some extent. I know you are offering $20 in compensation but surely, considering the need for add on modules at a later stage, the issue with the screen and the other bits and bobs AS would/ should be accountable for more than just the $20? Again, I can't state how well you have handled all our raging and dummy spits, I guess I'm kinda hoping you are doing a bit of raging of your own hehe

FWIW the current firmware has fixed all my CANBUS issues (touchwood), haven't had to do a reset or fusepull since updating, nor any memory leaks or any other major issues.

Any news on how the next firmware version is coming? Really keen to get the iPod charging issue and the SD playback on reverse issues fixed, those are my 2 major bugbears at the moment :p

Also, who was it that said their auxin was right channel only? Mine does the same thing, but I had assumed the cable I used was dodgy... maybe not the case?

^Ah fair enough, I'm still hanging tight to see how all this pans out as I want the unit. I had to ask, I like a good dummy spit every now and then haha

Can you please tell me what version of firmware the unit shows to be running now? That monsun.exe error only came up for kwalsh24 as far as I am aware, and he has a definite faulty unit. You may be in the same boat, if your firmware is current. It is not a memory message, it just says the program monsun.exe had a critical error and must be ended.

I will post up a newer one soon, to be safe please reset settings from the settings menu, reset the radio fuse, then update to the latest firmware (when I post it up that is). If the issue still come up let me know.

If you have the white screen then yes you may, just wait till after the production unit is released.

Just to check regarding the CAN-Bus though, have you updated to the latest firmware? Your firmware version should look identical to the one just posted by Fdandy.

There's your problem. Nothing is updated. Or at least your firmware (MCU) is old.

I am still unable to run the SD playback and the Nav at the same time without the music playback severly stuttering, or that memory leak msg appearing that I posted earlier. I am on the latest firmware revision and have tried a reset.

Also no one really answered my question about the air con pop up info. I was of the understanding that when you change something it pops up on the screen for a few seconds. Does this work for anyone else? I dont get anyting when I change a setting.
