So is mirror link currently on the software in the DNS? As in, when I get the aux and USB cable I'll be able to see my phone screen on the DNS? I thought this was a future thing.

So odds are looking slim for getting the capacitive screen then?
Because I dunno about others, but I'd gladly pay (or really, just not get the $40 in discounts that's being offered/I'm owed ($20 from a few months ago that I've been too busy to organise)), to swap out my unit with one with a capacitive screen when I get back to Brisbane in 2.5 months.
Resistive screen is fine and all, but capacitive is just so much nicer,
If that's even an option at all....
I second this, as the resistive screen in my unit is annoying at times, plus the white screen of death doesn't help matters any. The issue with my screen having s mind of its own could be an assembly issues, as at night I can see a bit of white backlite in a section around the CD slot, perhaps the faceplate & screen aren't meshing up correctly, mind you I'm not sure how that would effect the center of the screen selecting things, that to me is almost an issue with the layering of the screen itself.

I know you are trying to find a happy medium b/w buyer & supplier Sandy but you need to make a point to AS $h!t like this won't be tolerated.
This is an arrogant response from AS as they initially advertised something different & buyers only found out upon delivery... and now the 'suck it up' response?!?
How much comfort do we have the final product will be bug free & not left unfinished (like the ANS) with an attitude like that?
