Or is the fakra connector the antenna splitter?

So here's a question, what canbus should I be using for my mk5 in that secret window?

Also anyone else getting static feedback in the radio when the GPS is on? I had it on FM radio when the static was on... couldn't test the SD as that's the same card my GPS software is on haha

I don't notice any excessive static from the radio. Just the normal odd FM radio static.

And for the CAN-Bus question... not sure. All I know is in my MK6 the -s one did not work. Probably for Skoda vs VW?? dunno

Strange though, when I hit SD it cycles through all the various inputs (USB/SD/iPod etc)? I'd love an option in the menu to be able to change the behavior of this button, because it's a bit of a pain cycling through those options when I don't use them. I'd use SD or iPod, and that's it.
Hey Modal. I updated the spreadsheet but assume it automatically saves it? can you check.

Ah, nice. For some reason I thought the fakra connector was the connection to the canbus. Have googled a little now and ordered. Thanks for the help and confirmation.

Just remember that how you pack the excess cables away can induce noise. The best way is to wrap the excess cable in a figure of 8 to prevent IT acting as an antenna itself. Once you have done this, use cable ties to keep it that way.

Of course, everyone knew I meant ties

I've got to say I don't like these reports of hardware issues. I might wait for the full production units. Ummm since I'm on the list for the next batch does anyone else in Australia want my stock instead? I might have one or two coming.
