Dashboard- slight damage- from 2015 Golf R. No Accident Damage

    Hi,
Did a stupid thing and used blu-tac on my dash. Had vinyl repairers do their best and result might be fine for someone less uptight than me. Had dash replaced and hoping to take some of the sting out of it. Let me know if any information is needed.

There's an opportunity for someone to do some Alcantara upholstery. How come you use blu-tac if you don't mind me asking?

My kids gave me a Chewbacca bobble head that looked really cool on the dash. I tried to be a "Fun Dad" but I had a bad feeling about that blu-tac. Left it for weeks. Anyway, Chewy now sits facing rearward on the parcel shelf.

Haa, I know. It's not easy being me! I really wanted to look for a media unit that would put my phone/google maps on iPhone, on the display. Was looking at Audiosources but best put the wallet away for a while now

If you don't mind me asking, what sort of money did it cost for fitting? That looks like it would be a right bastard of a job?!

I think they underestimated it. They said half a day and $600. Pleased it was quoted as they spent two days on it.
