Burger Motorsports JB1 Performance Tune - VW Golf GTI, R, Tiguan, Polo, Audi A3, A4, S3, TT - Group 1-6 EA888 engines

This piggyback computer provides an instant power increase, turning your car into a beast without the risk of voiding your warranty (need to make sure you remove it before you take it in for service though).

Pulled from VW Golf R Mk 7, running Map 6. Also, comes with the optional USB cable so you can change the maps via laptop. In perfect condition, no broken clips!

This is the revision 2 version which can easily be upgraded to JB4 via an add on pack from Burger Motorsports (or Aussie sellers like AutoInstruct).

Please note: Burger Motorsports list different parts on their site for Group 1-6 of the EA888 engines, however, this is only for them to track what cars these are installed on, the JB1 tuner is actually the identical part, so will work on any of the Group 1-6 engines.

Power Gains

2.0 Golf R (and similar) Power Gains at the Wheels
Starting at 33kW (45bhp) and 61Nm (45ft-lb) on 95 RON with + 4.80psi boost over stock on the default MAP1 setting. Up to 67kW (90bhp) and 94Nm (70ft-lb) with bolt on modifications, higher octane and boost adjustment with the optional BMS Data Cable.

2.0 Golf GTI (and similar) Power Gains at the Wheels
Starting at 26kW (35bhp) and 61Nm (45ft-lb) with 95 RON with + 4.80psi boost over stock on the default MAP1 setting. Up to 67kW (90bhp) and 94Nm (70ft-lb) with bolt on modifications, higher octane and boost adjustment with the optional BMS Data Cable.

1.8 Polo 6C GTI (and similar) Power Gains at the Wheels
Starting at 15kW (30bhp) and 48Nm (35ft-lb) with 95 RON with + 4.0psi boost over stock on the default MAP1 setting. Higher numbers are possible with bolt on modifications, higher octane and boost adjustment with the optional BMS Data Cable.

Optional: Genuine Burger Motorsports JB1 Data Cable

This proprietary Data cable connects the JB control box to your laptop for use with Burger Motorsports datalogging, tuning, and map loading software. Cable may be left in engine bay and routed in the window or door when needed for a simple install. Alternatively it may also be routed behind the ECU in to the glove box for a clean install and on the fly access.

Please do not attempt to use a standard RS232/USB cable with the JB as it will not work and may damage the processor. All JB software is posted on n54tech.com.
