Constructed a 3 inch system for my Polo last week so not wanting to be wasteful I thought I'd offer the old Mild steel system up.
Made form 2.5 inch coated mild steel, 2 boxes, twin tail pipes.

Not mandrel bent but doesn't appear that was much of a hindrance in daily use. The 3 inch isn't vastly different in power except right at the top end.

I took it off carefully enough that it wouldn't be too hard to refit. The rear box could be done with a clamp or welded back up. One of the hangers was bent to get it out from over the rear axle.

Plenty of folk have been in the car with this system fitted and it's not overly loud.

I can't see an exhaust shop wanting too much to fit it.

I'd prefer not to ship it, due to the size and shape. Would be easy to chuck a couple of cheap trims on the back box to bling it up.

Was thinking a couple of hundred $ would be ok.
