Just wondering what the specs of the wheels are? Are they 18x8? Is the load rating the stumbling block to running the tyres on your tig?

As per the title I have 4 x Bridgestone Potenza RE003 245/40R18 97W brand new 100% unused condition - $750 delivered to Adelaide metro.
I just picked up some new wheels today which came pre-fitted with Bridgestone Potenza RE003's. Long story short these are the incorrect size for my car so these are now for sale (don't worry I was aware of this at time of purchase).
These will be available for pick-up/delivery when I purchase new rubber in the next couple of weeks.

You're thinking of the wrong car - the new wheels are for my Liberty
The rims are 18x8.5 and I need to run 245/45R18 tyres to be legal. The tyres that were supplied are correct size for a WRX STI which is what the rims are off.
For the Tig the standard size in an 18 is 18x8 and 235/50R18 but my wife's Tig runs 19's anyway so they're no use to me at all.
I'm not sure if they're going to fit many (any) VW's but posted up here in case someone is running a wheel/tyre combo that these will suit.
