    1.8T AUM (K03S drive-by-wire) complete

    Hi all.

I have a complete and running AUM 1.8T (K03S, drive-by-wire, manual). It's still in the car (2001 Audi A3) and I would prefer it if it would go all together. As such it includes everything needed for a conversion into, say, a Bora or New Beetle, including ECU, transmission, brakes (288mm setup, same as Mk4 GTI) etc. Car is now unregistered and chassis has been modified so there's no chance it'll be registered again. Would be great as a donor car for your project as it comes with everything; I would've advertised it as a working car if it wasn't for the irreversible chassis modifications. Car has been off the road since October 2015 but I start it up and drive it around the block every week.

    The good:
    - Recent major service (about 1.5 years ago; timing belt, water pump)
    - Upgraded to Hitachi coilpacks
    - Installed a phenolic spacer
    - Runs great, no hiccups, no loss of power (welcome to come test it out)
    - Regularly serviced every 4 months (with Motul Xcess 8100 and had always used a bigger oil filter for more capacity; last service in October 2015)

    The bad:
    - Speedo doesn't work (happened about 2 years ago, odo has stopped working too)
    - Doesn't come with Optima battery in pic below (current battery is dead)
    - A/C is on-and-off; sometimes it turns on straight away, other times it takes up to 5 minutes for the compressor to kick in
    - Engine cover and timing belt upper cover removed (engine cover replaced with a 034Motorsport alloy item)

And a video of it running:

Comes with some maintenance parts and other bits and pieces.

After $1.2k. Located in Merrylands West, near Parramatta. If you're local, you're welcome to come test drive. I can help with organising an unregistered vehicle permit so you can drive it back home ($28 insured for a week; save on tow).

I was looking for this ad last night and thought sold and deleted!

Wish the classified section was seperated; mk1-mk3; mk4-mk5; mk6-mk7.

Anyways I pulled the plug on something else for my wifes cabrio and will be visiting Camden Gti.

Sorry rayray, I nearly texted you but it was rather late

For others out there, this is a great setup with major serviceable's done!
