Hi guys I know it's a silly question but I have a 2018 tiguan r line with the 19 Tyres so what pressure do I have them at its at 44 right now is that to high or to low thanks.

Check your tyre placard in the Fuel Flap (or B Pillar - door sill).
Then adjust (when cold) and enter / store the values in the settings menu.

Those figures in the placard - are they the recommended pressures or recommended minimum pressures?

They are the recommended pressures.

tyre pressures aren’t a black art - load inflation tables tell you what pressure to run for tyre size and load. All tyre manufacturers the same reference set.

they are manufacturer agnostic - doesn’t matter which one you choose- the important parts are the tyre construction (eg P or LT), tyre size, and load.
