I've got the 2019 162TSI R-Line and I think the Bluefin tune does make a big difference and for a fraction of the price of say an APR tune which I was also considering. With the Bluefin you get the controller so if I ever want to go back to stock I don't need to go revisit the APR dealer, I'd just reach out to the guys at superchips for support and do it myself.
In short would I recommend the Bluefin tune? Yes. Save the extra money for other mods!
Thinking of getting the front lip and sides also?
Tiguan Gen2 162TSI Etuners IS38 Stage 3 238.6 kw@4 wheels
Not at this stage. I do like the extra ground clearance I get from the Tiguan over my previous S3.
How do I add photos I’m on my iPhone. It keeps saying invalid file type but it’s a JPEG?
Anyway in summary I painted all the grey stuff on my Tiguan on my 162TSI. Looks much nicer and fitted the R line steering wheel.

Yes, you’ll void your drivetrain warranty on your new car.
Not a problem for some as they are willing to take that risk. I’d definitely wait 12Months, just to make sure that the ECU is ok. Flashing it back to stock and go and claim your warranty like the car was never tuned doesn’t have to work, since the VW will figure out that the car was running outside of the factory parameters.
