    VW approved smash repairers? Sydney?

    Hi Everyone
My one year old Tiguan met with a pole this morning and sadly my immaculately kept car needs a minor repair.
I’d like to use a Volkswagen approved repairer. Online there are a few listed, can anyone share any experiences they’ve had with the below repairers?

    Body Perfect group - Bankstown

    Californian Smash repairs - Botany

Callaghan Collison centre - Taren Point

    Premier smash repairs - Camden

    Sillhouette Smash Repairs - Alexandria

Any suggestions would be welcomed! I want my Tiggy to be repaired properly and I don’t want to be ripped off!

    Thanku in advance

Silhouette are very professional and honest, but not cheap. You get what you pay for...

There is an Audi specialist repairer in Kirrawee but his name escapes me.

    +1 for Silhouette
I went in to ask about a scratch repair and they gave me a free paint sample for my car and a small brush and instructions how to cover a small scratch.
    They look very professional.

VW Leichhardt also recommended Basha Autohouse in West Ryde as approved VW repair.

Whats the upshot of going to an Insurer approved repairer if they aren't VW approved?

Hi guys I’m a panel beater and I work at parramatta smash repairs. We are a Mercedes Benz, BMW and Lexus approved repairers. I just read a question about what’s the upshot to going to the insurers own repairer. Well the answer is easy. NOT GOOD. Suncorp uses capital smart. I worked there for six months and left because of the bad poor level of workmanship. They are on a budget for parts weekly. And if they go over budget than your car will literally be bodgied up and slapped together to try save money. The best thing you could do is call your insurance company and choose the option of taking your pride and joy to your preferred panel shop. My ruling is placed that are genuinely prestigious and are preferred repairers for a brand like Mercedes are very good. As Mercedes does random spot checks to check on quality assurance. We also only file finish no bog. Here’s a photo of a Audi A4 I repaired be for and after.

Badly. There the worst I have ever seen. I would feel so bad for some of the cars repaired there. I would constantly argue that needs a panel. Not two inches full of bog. If you get a car repaired at capital I could bet my life a magnet won’t stick.
