I know that you've likely resolved this - but where was the sound coming from? if it sounded like a bee was stuck behind your dashboard then it's likely that it was the fuel line vibrating. I had the same issue and recorded it:

Yep. I had it fixed by VW once and it was OK for a while but it comes back from time to time. Apparently you can wiggle the fuel line to stop it from happening - I haven't tried this yet.

I bet you have picked up stones on the under trays and they are vibrating as you drive along Tigs have got noise cancelling full length trays and could quite easily pick up small stones

Ok. So the issue is as the 'what's that vibration' video above.
Problem is the cars fuel line metal housing is even tighter than the golf they fixed. I did the cable tie thing but still a vibration.
Any ideas?

I cut up some foam from my daughters floor mats. Pushed it between the fuel lines. So far so good.
Got the idea from an old VW service bulletin I found online, where they used foam to stop the fuel lines vibrating.
