Upgrades

Hi all, I have 2017 R line Tiguan and looking for a bit of advice I'm thinking of getting a Racingline package which comprises of air box, turbo muffler, highflow turbo inlet and new silicone hose. Are these upgrades worth doing before stage 1 upgrade.

No. I would get them done with the tune.

Highflow inlet is a waste just for a tune tbh. Airbox won't give you much more than just removing the snow grill thing that's restricting from factory.

The tune though is an amazing difference.

If all you want is a tune, get the blue fin. Same power as the APR and you can install remove it at will.

I have modified many cars, and have to say the results are impressive. APR won't double the money for something that I guarantee won't dyno any differently.

The Racingline package isn't necessary unless you want to go Stage 2 and beyond.

You're best bet is to remove the snow grate at the bottom of the air box.
I wouldn't even bother with a performance panel air filter, it's not really necessary.
