Once again yours has Byte 13 set to 40 in Module 13 along with all others with TJA enabled so this still looks to be the only way to enable it which needs to be done by VW.

It could be that VW needs to activate something or some additional coding in another module needs to be done together with this byte?

Nz_golfr did you also change byte 6 and 13 in the ACC module? Sorry to keep asking but you don't seem to answer this

Yes I tried Byte 6 but this made no difference. As I have already mentioned, as soon as I change Byte 13 on mine I get a warning up on the AID saying Front Assist not available and a fault is logged stating "Control module incorrectly coded".

Looking at the coding of Byte 13 and the change that is made by going from 30 (Bit 4 & Bit 5 Enabled Only) to 40 (Bit 6 Enabled Only) it changes SWaP_FSID_group_3 from 3 to 4. To me this says that TJA is in fact a Software as Product (SWAP) upgrade and as such only done by VW.

Ah, excellent, I did see something about what upgrades had been done in the car (just a list of numbers), I think by pressing and holing the menu button and at the time was wondering if it was a list of SWAP firmwares

Just checked, I have 11 "function enabled codes (SwAp)" presume it could be one of them then

Push and hold the Menu button on the Infotainment unit then there is an option for SWaP and you can list installed options.
