Cars in NZ of the same production time have been enabled and I have heard VW personnel discussing and asking why it can't be done on the earlier cars.

Maybe I can check mine this afternoon. It arrived at my local dealership and i'm going to take a look.
If ALG is already in my menu on the Discover Pro then I think TJA is added too. (ALG comes only with TJA here in The Netherlands)
For a test in real life we have to wait a week. I can pick it up next Wednesday 13-09 .

Ok I started the car and checked the menus:
ALG is there! Is TJA another option in the menus or is it invisible?
I could not take it for a spin but next Wednesday I will pick it up and test for TJA.
So I don't know if ALG works below 60km/h but it's strange that the option is there, right?

My understanding is you won't know until you drive it as there is no option to enable TJA. I would not be surprised of all cars now have it as a standard feature.

No menu item, just works when you put the ACC on under 38mph/60kph, but it has to be quite a clearly marked out road

Ok, we have enough of those roads so should not be any problem next week.
Would be pretty cool if after all I would have TJA. Then it's due to the fact that I have an MY18 build and my dealership and the brochures here are not updated with this fact.
I will create dumps and long codings anyway.

Like I said, mine wasn't spec'd with TJA and it was a ex demo and the sales guys said it isn't on it, but it turned out it was

for those of you who didn't know, VWA have released MY18 Spec updates to Tiguan.... and you'll be surprised to see a few new added features on it.

I've read it and it's nice! Not too many choices compared to the Dutch brochure but you do have all the nice options you could wish for.
The DAP is still an optional pack but it does come including official TJA compared to the old MY17 specs, nice !
In The Netherlands brochure is not changed for MY18 and it still lists TJA as a seperate option for 400 euro's.
Maybe they change the brochures soon or I can test my MY18 live next week to see if it's default activated on my model as I didn't buy the option.
