Hi Rainesh
Keen to know what 's updated in the Index H? Also, the newer Cars like Arteon is running Index J?
Currently running Index G when enabled TJA.
Wonder if it is necessary to update the firmware

Hi Neal,
You can update the software on your camera to the newer version H, then apply the correct parameter set for TJA for rev H.
You can then test and advise if there is any differences you can determine between the versions.
There is no changelog available for the different versions. Would need to find a TSB that advises to update to rev H that may have some information, but even then it's generally very vague...

@kamold / @rainesh - Is this something that you're still doing via Teamviewer if I buy a VCP cable?
Sure no problem can show you how to do it
Hi kamold, have you found that TSB regarding camera upgrade? I'm going to bring the car for the service soon and I would like to mention that to the dealer.
Hi guys! I'm from the other side of the world :), but a VW owner as you (I drive a Golf 7).
I was not able to read all pages on this thread, though I tried. Nonetheless, I dare to ask if the hack you have been discussing about activating the TJA on a car that already has Lane Keep Assist can be applied only to the latest generation vehicles from VW, or if it can be applied to a 7th generation Golf (mine is from 2016).
Where are you from? You need Adaptive cruise control and lane assist for TJA. Also it depends on the module of the Lane assist camera.
I have succesfully activated TJA and Emergency Assist on a prefacelift Golf 7. It had the correct modules.

Do you also need the sensors on the bumper? I have a total of 8, 4 on the front and 4 on the back. I was told to have TJA you need to have a total of 12. You have to have the sensors on the side of the bumper too. Can someone confirm this?
Thank You
Paul

That's the first I've heard of TJA needing additional sensors although it makes sense as these are the 4x sensors mounted at each corner covering the side of the car for Park Assist - I'm fairly certain these have a larger range and this may help the car navigate at low speeds while self steering.
