Traffic information

I have enabled traffic information (TMC) following hillbillys great instructions using obdeleven but nothing seems to have happened.
Set Fee based TMC value to 1024
I have enabled TP and RDS to automatic via radio settings
Can't see any TMC logo showing to confirm successful activation and no faults.
Is there anything I have missed?

It can take some time to download. Try holding the power down on the unit to do a soft reset

Tried that but still no joy, thanks for the suggestion.

I've done this one myself (a while back) and I recall that it didn't work the first time but did after I reset the Discover Pro again (and I think turned off the engine). Also, I know you said that you did a soft reset, just make sure you hold down the power button long enough.

The traffic info isn't that great to be honest, nowhere near as good as google maps.

What's is more accurate for notifying on speeding over the current speed

VW Traffic Sign Info or using Google Waze ?

agreed - i think i've only had it re-route the navigation twice due to traffic congestion. aside from that, i usually forget it's even there.
