Tow bar for MY23 Tiguan R

Does anyone know whether the Westfalia tow bar (product code 321907600001) will fit the new Tiguan R? We have one one our MY18 162TSI R-Line and the thing is absolutely brilliant! No cutout, totally invisible and proper CAN integration with the wiring kit.

The R has a different exhaust system and I know this used to be a problem on the Golf R in the days but no idea whether this applies to the Tiguan R as well.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
