Car bra. So you can remove it at the end of the trip. But then you end up with rub marks on your paint.
I don't think there's a great solution but fly wire is reasonably good on the outside and most auto shops will sell light weight aluminium mesh which can be installed into the grille if you want to do the disassembly (which is actually not that hard).

Yep spot on. At the end of the day it’s not a Mercedes AMG or a Audi SQ5. That’s been built for speed. If it was a Tiguan R...than yeah it would have all the go fast bits. I’m gonna do mine in a couple of weeks. I like to do mine properly. Not completely take them off the car cause that means bleeding brakes and etc but I’ll be taking out the pads and smoothing out the calliper so there’s none of that rough texture on them. They will look smooth and glossy. A little bit of work but will definitely be worth it. It’s not hard to do. But I’ll take pictures when I do them.

After a few exchanges with Josh from Outwest Creations Detailing, apparently he uses the High Temperature enamel paint cans from VHT or Dupli Color. Is the paint trust worthy?
Any advise if he is good and of the paint products?
Some examples of his work:
