I had my last car done in Permagard at the dealership for $350. It was pretty good but after 12 months started to lose its shine.
Just had my new Wolfsburg Tig done in Ceramic Pro, inside and out, including rims. Not done at dealership but at Ceramic Pro detailing premises. $850. The product looks absolutely mint and lifetime warranty. My mate has been installing this product on high end Euro vehicles for a number of years and swears by it. See how it goes but early visual it displaces water far better than Permagard and the shine is pretty crazy. Considering the last car and the new Tig are the same colour you can definitely see the difference between those two products.
Yeah your probably rite. Like I said I got the permagard for free through work. Permagard is not designed for shine. They do do it but you have to go through the whole system. That takes about a week. What you pay for at the dealership is literally just the paint protection. It does the one thing its designed to do. Protect your paint. And yes its only designed for one year. I personally like to polish and wash my car all the time. So to me Id rather just use good old waxes but got this for free lol.
