    Tiguan R

The ATE ceramic low dust pads are not available for the Tiguan R.
Does anyone know of a low dust ceramic pad for the R?

Lots of brake manufacturers are now making ceramic pads. I recently fitted Brembo ceramic pads to my Ford Fiesta ST and they are just as good as the ATE Ceramics I had in my Mk7 Golf GTI. I also have ceramic pads in my wifes Audi SQ5 - those are Akebono Euro Ceramics.

Surely the Tiguan R uses the same brakes as the Mk8 Golf R?? Perhaps the platform is still too new for aftermarket brake pads. You might need to hold out for a year or so.

Thanks Lucas. The Tiguan R uses front discs similar to the Audi S3 and Arteon R.
Brembo I may have a solution.
ATE don’t do drilled rotors unfortunately.

There's a good reason for that

Have a look here. EBC brakes seem to have some pads for the Tiguan R, but it looks like some use a TRW caliper and other use a ZF caliper. The "Redstuff" pads are the ceramic ones. You will need to check what your car has (it will be embossed on the caliper somewhere).
