Got this from official Volkswagen Australia. How can it be true?

Hi, apologies for not calling you today. I can confirm that orders can not be taken for the Tiguan MY18. The MY18 will be released later on this year, however we are yet to have any confirmed dates. Thanks, xxx@Volkswagen
