Yeah I’ve watched a couple of install videos warning to be careful. I probably will get the relocation kit later but am prioritising on getting the big ticket items done first and then can sort out the smaller bits and pieces later on.

Sounds like a plan. Did you get the intake intake elbow/pipe also?

No intake only. I wasn't 100% sure the intake elbow pipe would fit the Tiguan. I'll have to do some more investigation...

Can confirm that Mk7 R/GTI aftermarket elbow fits. I have intake hose on the way, I can't justify VWR $250.

Legend! I'll look out for some options and talk to my local shop who will be doing the more major install work (DP/turbo) as they have been helping me source parts too.

Whilst you are doing the intake hose you should also consider on the turbo side changing the turbo inlet, this will ensure you have maximum flow with no bottle necks. It’s the part that joins the intake hose to the turbo.

Yes I will be replacing the turbo inlet whilst everything is apart. The workshop that is doing the work on my car is across this and is sourcing a few of these smaller bits for me. They are local agents for Leyo and I think there'll be a few parts from their parts catalog getting fitted to me car: LEYO Motorsport | Our Products - Engine Components

Still waiting to hear back from someone more educated at Intergrated Engineering. There initial response was that it's not listed as compatible fitment.
There is a Tiguan in QLD that had a CTS intercooler fitted. I am waiting to hear back on what happened there. The CTS intercooler has enlarged inlets and outlets so I imagine the hoses that came with the kit would have been used.
When it comes to Factory hoses, I was comparing Tiguan part to the Golf R. For example the left hose. Tiguan = 5QF145832 Golf R = 5Q0145832D (Originally 5Q0145832)
