You could do both....especially if you are intending to keep the Tig.

I'm going Wagner as they are the only one with a kit for the Tiguan. I believe the hoses are different lengths.

Comp. Intercooler Kit VW Tiguan AD1 2,0TSI – Performance Brands Group

The standard MQB and Tiguan AD1 kits have specific part numbers so definitely some differences between the 2. I've tried to find out but I'm pretty sure it's just hose lengths.
