After plenty of research I've decided to go with Littco L450. Mainly due to the upgraded thrust bearings. I was never going to go a Hybrid, a stock is38 was fine but due to the price this made the most sense. I probably won't push it to its full potential, I'll be happy if I safely achieve ~ 230kw at the wheels. Time to organise the little bits a pieces now.

Well this thread has certainly taken off!!!

Nice to see another hybrid option. And price point is pretty good. Did you get this locally or shipped from the UK?

Wow, nice one. There must have been a few New Years resolutions to get a turbo swap!

I’m not familiar with this brand, is it designed for 450 HP and what is the torque output ?

Which tuner are you going with?

Have you started collecting parts for the build?

Interesting that Littco compressor blade design is a 7 + 7 design and TTE is 6 + 6.

Which state are you from? I’ll add you to the first page, as I have been tracking IS38/turbo swaps for those that visit and contribute to the thread.
    It feels like that. I'm from QLD. 450hp + 420tq @ 1.7bar. Redline Tuning

Shipping form the UK directly from Littco. Bang for buck considered I'm not chasing big power. More so wanted the reliability + stage 2 is38 power.

Yes if you’re going to buy an IS38 then at least this one has upgraded bearings in it plus the ability to make a little more on the stock IS38 doesn’t hurt Tiguan IS38 and Big turbo upgrades
