The result?
Well when your digital speedo jumps up in increments of 20kph and is struggling to keep up - but then when the car is more than happy to potter around in daily traffic - then you have an amazing SUV.
So I ended up with 228kw, and about 465nm ATW
So we put in:
BMS drop in filter, and removed the snow grate. No other airbox modifications were done.
CTS Turbo Inlet
CTS Downpipe with Hi Flow Cat
IHI IS38 Turbo - New (but had been used) (06K 145 874G)
Stage 3 Engine Tune
Matching DSG Tune
I really like dealing with Gordie. He listened to what I wanted, added his advice, but wasn't over the top in his recommendations. He enjoyed the process just as much as I did I reckon - and was over the moon himself at the end result - a true enthusiast.
Thanks for everyone's input so far to help me make the decision making process easier.
Now for planning the next set of mods...........
