The install is practically done, I'm hoping that it's getting tuned and dyno'd now.

It seems the problem with the pendulum mount/torque link has been resolved; they're getting someone to fabricate one based on the RacingLine part but at the correct length.

Looks like I ordered the wrong Eibach spring kit. I didn't check on Eibach's site for the correct part number, and instead I trusted the guys I bought them from. I've ordered the correct ones from Tuner Shop in the UK and I'll be sending the wrong ones back.

This is my first time at modifying a car, and while I've kicked myself over those little things overall I'm happy with the way it's turning out.

Don't worry, I'll be posting pics once it's on the dyno.
The stock run when I first took it in was 123kW @ wheels.

With the amount of stuff you are bolting on, it’s a pretty good effort to only get 2 issues. Going from 123kw to x kw will be like night and day. 123kw sounds very conservative, was that on a mainline dyno? I’m going to hazard a guess that you will get 270 kw atw.......

4th or 5th gear? I think 4th might be closest to 1:1 but not sure on dsgs.

Dyno dynamics is a realistic figure. Without changing any internals I'd be very happy with an increase to 200kws.. even 180kws at 4 wheels ona dyno dynamics.

162 engine kws translating 123kws @4wheels on that dyno is actually a good realistic figure. Only 25% drivetrain loss on an awd is awesome. Engine might even be a little conservative in the 162 figure.

Example, the older wrxs that had 147kw originally used to dyno on that dyno at 85kws @4 wheels. So 123kws is far away for that!

Unsure if this data is already in the thread, but for all of those in Melbourne/Sydney, I enquired to Underground Performance about stock vs their stage 1 tune. This is from a tune they did just yesterday:

Underground dyno seems to read around 10kw higher than others.

Picked up the car today but it's still not finished yet.
Car is currently tuned at just under 240wkws on 1.7bar. Etuners reckon they can push to well over 2.2bar but want more time to play with it.
Power delivery is very smooth no matter what mode it's in, and it just keeps pulling, and it just keeps pushing me further back into my seat.
I've got a good amount of NVH on idle from the Racingline engine mount. I'm confident this will disappear after some bedding in which could take about 6 weeks. There's a good amount of polyurethane in the mount which I think is hard as a rock but will soften over time.
As soon as the throttle is engaged the NVH disappears completely.
There's also the case of the pendulum mount/torque arm. I'm getting one fabricated (CNC machined) just like the Racingline but at the longer length required for the DQ500 DSG.
I've also got the correct springs on order so once they arrive I'll be taking the car back to get the mount and springs fitted, and they can have all day to play with the tune.

I'm also happy to say that it works well as a daily driver despite the NVH. I drove home in that last bit of peak hour traffic and it felt fine, if not better than it did, but I put that down to the TCU tune.

No graphs yet sorry, not until it's finished.

Awesome to hear! 240kw atw is a fair effort. Would be interesting to crank boost to 2 bar to see the power increase albeit only if safe.

I had a bit of NVH with my dog bone insert, it took about 2 weeks for it to fully mold. Then there was only a very sight NVH on startup, driving was perfect.

Give us some further insights after you’ve driven your car for a bit and had a retune at Etuners.

Had another drive today around Sydney. The vibration on idle is definitely easing off.

Took a friend for a spirited drive and he loved it, couldn't quite get to 4th gear before having to slow or stop, but once, just as it shifted into 4th I could feel the surge building up, but then I was on the brakes. My friend couldn't stop laughing and saying "this is a bloody SUV! It shouldn't be doing this!". Haha.
