I think the answer is that this car was sponsored and this was a "standard" stage 3 package. I think if you watch the video you see Moog answer the question saying he wasn't chasing a number but more about how the car makes you feel. If you go chasing numbers then it can lead to disappointment.
Also he's now got a great daily driver with supercar performance. It ran an 11.6 1/4 mile with 255kwaw and they bumped it up to 277kwaw so would now be in low-mid 11's I'm guessing.
Remember it's a daily driver and not built for doing a particular event/drag/track/etc. He ran full road weight with road tyres and 98 fuel which if you were trying to go fast down the drag strip you'd strip it out, run drag radials and E85/methanol. It would do 10's for sure but then you'd end up with a drag car and not a daily driver.

I reckon that car would do lower if it had a proper mechanical diff up front and rear, even on the same tyres.
The LC needs to be set a wee bit higher so there's a tiny bit of slip on the wheels as it comes off the mark.
10 second dailys do exist
Look at XR6 turbos, stock motor, stock the works just head studs, billet oil pump gears, valve springs and big boost. Even the stock ZF gearbox loves it, no need for fancy clutch packs or valve bodies in this case.

Xr6 turbos wre only good on a preped track, on normal road cant get the power down.
I had a 300rwkw G6ET and it struggled
True - i raced several modified XR6T's when i had my MK6 Golf R which had 211kw atw. I would nail them off the line, then depending on how powerful they were they would reel you in but you were well above 100kph by that time so it was basically time to back off. My car was a 6 speed manual too, so a DSG would do even better.
The Falcon's are a heavy car, primitive suspension, no LSD and they are under tyred for a big powerful car.

What's the difference between a High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) and a High Volume Fuel Pump (HVFP)?
Or is it the same thing?
same thing mate. i've never heard of HVFP before but it looks like some people like to call it that...
