Tiggy the Hybrid sounds impressive. Be interesting to hear once someone has gone down this path. Personally I’d like to stick with the APR pathway, it’s logical based on where my local tuner is and as you say it will be a 4 second car once I get to that stage which will more than meet my goal. It’s so easy to fall victim to the horsepower bug and I spent a lot of money in previous years when the STI was in its hey day. If I can get a super reliable Tig that when required can do those sort of sprints I will be more than happy. I learned in previous years that sooner or later your going to compromise daily driving, considering most of the time the car will be in comfort mode cruising and then turn into Hyde when I want it to will be awesome.
Based on what I have read your car drives like it should but you have the power there when you need it. If that’s the case then definitely it’s the cars pathway.
In 3-4 years I will track down a good 2nd hand RS3 and get the stage 1 APR flash tune and airbox, I have a few mates that have done this and the car is staggering.
