Tiguan Fuel Tank Leaks

Anyone else had to replace their fuel tank rubber seals? Did mine under warranty (MY 19.5 Aus delivery) but surprised they degraded so much, fuel was leaking into wheel well area so pretty whiffy and dangerous.

Could it have been incorrectly fitted in the factory assembly?

The damage on one side might be where it was pinched up. Or was that from the disassembly and replacement process?

I think you're right, both the pump and suctions seals showed similar wear so I'm thinking fitting issue too.
