I've searched the service manual, but it doesn't give any guidance for the rline rear bumper.
No wires attached, but they need to be tied up out of the way.
Somehow undo the clips and bash inwards with a rubber mallet. My exhaust shop took 30 minutes for the first and 5 minutes minutes for the other once he found how to do it.

Thanks Hole. Do you know how many clips there are on each side? If you still have the chrome trims, would be awesome if you could take a pic, so I can reverse engineer the removal process.

Keen to not break anything as I’ll be putting them back on before resale.

Turns out the ad expired and disappeared. I happened to randomly check one day and the ad was back up.
Going to get it fitted soon.
Just wondering how to open the exhaust valves before having the exhaust installed?

let us know how you go! I have one also..i'm jst trying to find a shop that is keen to give it a go at a reasonable price

RE the exhaust valves; are they open or closed by default?

assuming they're open: what's the impact of not having the actuators powered? if they're open all the time will that impact low end torque?

Assuming they're closed: will that restrict high end throttle response?

Valves are operated by vacuum. You need to run a vacuum line to the valve to close it. By default the valve should be open.

The only down-side of having an open valve is that the exhaust will be noisier. There is little to no difference in performance from a cat-back exhaust - it's all about the noise.
