The Allspace is worth it over the reg Tiguan for the extra rear space (rear facing child seat godsend) and boot space, not the 6th and 7th seats IMO
If you MUST have 7 seats..You can get a decent Low kn Q7 for 60K...and not get hammered on depreciation...VW don't do a very sexy 7 seater IMO

Supply and demand people.. whilst there is limited supply the prices will be higher and less room to move as there will be someone willing to pay the price for it now..
When those people are not there and there is an oversupply, the price will decrease and more wiggle room will be available..
So if you MUST buy one of the first batch be prepared to pay for it.. or wait patiently for a better price down the track..

Some of the QC problems reported in the US forum are a bit of a worry, welding not done correctly in the roof etc.
70k for a mexican build seems ridiculous. The q5 now comes from mexico and that seems ridiculous for audi also.no matter what they say, you cant beat a german built car over mexican. The quality is just that little bit better.
german auto reviewers seem to consistently make this point.
Im sure theyre good, but that good? Demo/ second hand q7 seems the go, or a german made multivan
MY18 Golf Alltrack 135tdi - DA pack, SL pack without sunroof, Info pack : tungsten silver
I got a heap of quotes for Allspace with Rline, S&V, sunroof, metallic paint, tow bar, tints, boot liner and roof racks - best quote was $63k drive away. most others were in the $65-$67k range.
The two cheapest were $63k and $64k, but late November delivery, maybe December.
Found two dealers with my exact model with September delivery, so ended up at $65k because they knew I would pay a premium for Sept delivery. I figured by Late Nov/Dec, my current ride would have depreciated another $1-$1.5k so was ok to pay the premium...
