Hi guys,
Just picked up a new Tiguan Allspace Adventure 162 TSI, which is basically a 5 seater allspace with exceptionally crappy seats.
I'm wondering how to retrofit new seats from a wrecker with the least amount of stuffing about possible. The cars current seats are the basic life seats, which are manually operated with seat heating.
Is there anyway to retrofit a new leather set, which come with the power driver side without connecting the memory seat function? So theyre just electric and dont need to speak to the car canbus? Or alternatively, is there anyway to modify an electric donor leather seat to be manual and just plugin the seat heating?
My fallback is to put in R line cloth seats, which are also fully manual with seat heating, however these are nearly impossible to find given they appear only on the monochrome version.
Fun fact
Allspace adventure is actually a police spec car, for a fleet deal which fell through. Which is why they have the uprated alternator, battery, undercarriage protection, sports suspension, sports steering and 162 TSI.

Can't help with the seats but as a retired Police Officer, appreciate the fun fact.....
