Tiguan Allspace 2020 side mirror colour

Hi all,
Has anybody noticed the side mirrors on the Tiguan allspace are grey/silver for all colours? Anyone know why this is? And has anyone has success getting them resprayed to match the vehicle colour?

So odd to have silver mirror housing on all colours !

It is a bit odd. I haven’t bothered changing mine. It wouldn’t be hard for any competent auto painter to sort out. May even be able to buy the colour you want officially via vw (whether au$ or overseas is up to you)

Hello John,

VGA did the different paint scheme to differentiate it from the Tiguan.

The colour is most likely Reflex Silver Metallic LA7W.

You can wait for a written off Tiguan SWB to show up. Wolfsburg has black mirror caps.

Look on Ali Express 60 pages of stuff for Tiguans on there but watch it with some as they have the L model in China which is our Allspace so a lot of stuff like mats both boot and floor and door sill stuff doesnt fit the shorty

Coloured Engine start button covers DONT FIT Ive got 3 useless ones

I got the metal rear bumper and inner sill protector and they have Tiguan L embossed on it (Sent in error to be fair)

I thought they only did this for the Highline model back when I got mine in 2018 but checking the brochure from 2018 they did it for all models.

Confirmed today that hole in undertray is dead in right place for oil drain. Not so sure about tranny drain though
