Yes you have to remove the liner I suppose, but it’s velcroed on so in theory I should be able to open the 3rd row and the liner being made out of rubber should just bend
I only have 2 kids so it’s extremely rare to need to open the 3 row seats up

Picked up our allspace fully optioned tonight and looks like the ambient light in the sunroof is not working. Was told that the recall didnt afect our cars here in oz but it looks like it has. Gonna confirm with dealer whats teh deal tomorrow.
Anyone else picked up there sunroof allspace recently? Ambient light working?
I can’t remember without going to look in the menus but can you control the brightness of the ambience in different parts (footwell/door/root). It’s not just turned down possibly in the settings?
Just checked and there was no option to change the ambience in the menu.
I also looked at their website and the specs has been removed, was their originally.
Looks like new owners who recently picked up their allspace with panaroof have been short changed as it has been deleted without notification
Picked mine up last night and noticed the same.
Checked the settings menu and you can only adjust all interior brightness together i.e. global change, not localised to footwell, or sunroof or any other
Did you speak to the dealer?
Looking that way...
I would say this is related to the recall in US and Canada recently given the allspace is manufactured in Mexico.
Recently all of them were recalled to have the Pano lights disconnected due to instances of them catching fire in humid conditions.
The intention was to reactivate when a fix was found..
Normal Tig's manufactured in Germany are ok and still retain the Pano ambient lighting.

Thanks Grugly
I hope so, but I have a funny feeling these will remain switched off...

I picked up my Allspace last week- white R-line 162 TSI. I have been enjoying it so far and I had to argue with wife over who's driving the tiggy - and she doesn't even normally like to drive. )
my thoughts so far:
- I confirm white is a great colour for the R-line and it doesn't cost extra!! love it!!
- My Allspace came with Pirelli Scorpion tyres, instead of Continental w/ ContiSeal on the demo car. I assume the Pirelli also have self-seal tech?
- I noticed what appears to be cost saving measure by VW - the front leather seats, are not entirely leather... and no I'm not referring to synthetic leather - which is disclosed in the spec.sheet. it's fabric/cloth material on the side walls of the front seat.
Rear door trim is different material from the front, hard plastic on the rear door trim.
- on the flip side, the Dynaaudio sub-woofer is mounted inside the spare wheel. clever use of space!
- this is my first car with DSG/dual clutch, I find feathering the throttle while reversing up an incline quite difficult (e.g. reversing up into a garage). it felt like the car is going to launch itself into a wall. Manual transmission is easier for this task!!
- I noticed the transmission make subtle noise switching between D1-D2 in certain circumstance. but reading some articles/forum I concluded this is normal DSG characteristic.
- I've linked the keys to 2 driver profiles, the electric seat doesn't always automatically re-adjust when the car is unlocked with a particular key. Not sure why.
- Active info display looks awesome, the display is crisp, and I'm drawn to the "classic" view mode - it looks clean.
- Park assist is useless for parking into a bay, it's faster just to take control of the steering wheel myself. Paralel parking with park-assist is great however. The car can position itself within a few inches of the kerb.
- Fuel economy - I've done just under 500km, and get about 10.5 L/100KM - mainly suburban driving, with lots of traffic lights.
