Expecting my Allspace next week. Well it was supposed to arrive this week (Highline + S&V) however something went wrong with delivery.
The dealer however found me an Allspace R-Line + S&V & Sunroof that they have in stock, so hopefully I'll be able to collect in a few days.

Picking mine up on Monday afternoon Pure white 162TSI, R Line, S&V, sunroof. $62,700 drive away, best of luck getting that price though, the dealer got the wrong price from VW when I preordered and they were good enough to honour the deal.

I was going to ask whether tinting is needed or optional given that the highline models comes with tinting on all windows and 35% VLT on the rear and passenger windows?

I wasn’t aware of that however the drivers seat would need it at the minimum

Believe the included tint is only the rear windows on the highline, not the front driver and passenger. Same as the regular Tiguan.

Picked up my new tiggy this afternoon, straight from the showroom into the rain. I managed to drive to the dept of transport 3 minutes before closing time, ripped off the plates in 2 mins, and walked in to swap them for euro style plates with 1 min to spare. Then it was mounting the plates in the rain before driving back to work car park to get out of the rain to take some photos.

Some initial thoughts, comparing this Allspace 162 R Line with my 2012 Tiguan 155 TSI, and my 2015 CX5 Akera.
    - Adaptive cruise control cut out when the heavy rain stopped (this happened twice), error display related to the front assist camera. Compared to my CX5, the Mazda radar cruise control never once cut out in 3 years in all weather.
    - Like my old 155 TSI, switching from normal to sport the response was chalk and cheese, although the Allspace is bearable in normal mode whereas I had to drive my 155 TSI in sports all the time.
    - Ride comfort, surprisingly in normal mode wasn't very hard as I had expected with 20" wheels, I felt that the Allspace in normal was actually softer than my CX5. In sports mode, it was like driving a sports car
    - Stop start, start is twice as fast as the CX5 (diesel), but I used OBD11 to disable it anyway, and I also disabled the annoying warning on startup.
    - Auto highbeam not as good as CX5, have to re-enable every drive.
    - Dynaudio in allspace sounds better than Bose in CX5

Do you think the Allspace R Line looks like a poor man's BMW X3?
