Hi all,
I’m new to the forum, and waiting on my 132TSI Adventure DAP + Sunroof (end of the month fingers crossed!). Wondering if anyone has a photo of the daytime running lights? I can’t seem to find anything and wanted to see the difference to the Highline. Thanks!
Hope this helps

Ah ok full headlights. Thanks so much!
They seem to sit somewhere between the lights fitted to the standard Comfortline and the Highline in that they have LED indicators instead of old school globes on Comfortline,
but they are missing the dynamic cornering and dynamic high beam function from the Highline.
Yeah that’s a great explanation. Thanks![]()
Got a 132TSI Adventure (White) from Belconnen (ACT) VW dealer.
Like the others, we told them not to install the roof racks.
Because of the cost, my wife decided to get the 3+5 warranty (3 years for VW + 5 years dealer mechanical protection warranty).
A bit disappointed that Suna and traffic sign recognition doesn't come enabled. We are both disappointed that we cannot permanently disable auto stop/start.
PS: I know about modifying using VCDS but she's terrified it might void the warranties.
Just got my Tiguan Adventure 132TSI (DAP) from Belconnen, ACT dealer. Like the others, we chose not to get the roof racks installed.
The first thing I did was to update the GPS maps. The dealer's SD card was dated 2016 and there are a few streets in our suburbs that are new.
I was a bit disappointed the Discovery Media doesn't support DAB. My wife and I are getting annoyed with the auto stop/start "feature" but she's terrified that if we get this modified it could/might void the warranty (3+5 years).
Changing a setting using VCDS is not going to void your warranty. It's just a feature available in a different region/setting that is available from the factory.
The only thing is that if you do change it then don't expect the local dealership to support it as it's not a standard feature for the cars that they wuld get trained on.
You will get used to stop/start but if it really annoys you then I'd disable it with VCDS. I just enabled some functions infcluding the traffic sign recognition for another forum member. Why it doesn't come enabled is a bit puzzling to me, however I think sometimes it's driven by marketing and they'll enable features in following model years. The fact that these features have been lying dormant in the car all along they just won't tell you...
Word of caution. Just take a full scan before you start and record all the settings before you make any changes. That way you can change them back if you ever want/need to later down the track.

I presume you know to turn off the auto stop start each time you start the car? As an interim I guess? In my experience of a week you do get used to it.
I agree. I wasn't a fan of start/stop but now I'm used to it. Works well and quiet enough if you have music playing.
