You actually don't need to be booting it. Just firm acceleration esp on an incline, which is when most obvious. Definitely a vibration from somewhere. Like I mentioned before, it is like driving over fine rumble strips. Yes, it is obvious.

Felt this since I was able to accelerate harder after running in.
Anyone noticed similar? Thought I'd ask here before I take it in.
    Many thanks.
Tested what you said, and the vibration through the steering wheel, seat and body I feel maybe due to the engine vibration.

Tiguan is lighter than most bigger SUV. Strap a powerful engine and I expect the light weight is not enough to dampen the vibration.

I would have to test driven a Subaru WRX 2L turbo to compare how other powerful turbo engines and if they pass vibrations through the car ...

Get all around mudflaps and the aero past them damps the vibrations as none in mine ROFL

I wonder how the rs3/A45/civic/etc feel...

Vibrations under load aren’t normal. I had a 1800kg car with 370rwkw. No vibrations.

Some people are super-sensitive and notice things that others can’t. Some cars aren’t inline with the expected standards of the other samples. Sometimes these two factors combine.

Couple this with Australian ****ty protections for consumers AND companies with no ethics/morals/care/etc and it leads to no improvements

That makes sense ... will install the mudflaps tomorrow and see if it reduces my 0-100 km/h to below 6 sec ...

I can't really comment unless I drive another powerful turbo vehicle to compare with

Ok, I have an update....ever since new (6 month) i use 98 octane fuel. 4 weeks ago i switched to 95 and have noticed a big reduction in this Vibration we are talking about. its not my imagination , its definitely almost gone. I can't see what octane has to do with it but is either a coincidence or something.

Could it be weather related? Summer started 3 weeks ago, maybe one of your components doesn’t like the cold?

Hmm...not sure how. I have now done 7500kms and the vibration is still there but not as strong. Car is going in for its first service, so will mention it again (different dealer) and see if they will pick it up.

I have transmission clickety clacks at low speed changes, but the changes are smooth, so not sure what's that about...purely an audible issue.
